ABU Dhabi: Signed a deal with Airbnb to boost the holiday home sector

ABU Dhabi’s tourism chief has signed a New Deal with Airbnb to find more transformational alternatives to traditional hotels in the emirate and offer tourists more accommodation options.The Department of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) and international holiday rental platform Airbnb on Wednesday announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly promote the development of the holiday home industry in Abu Dhabi.Under the mou, Airbnb will provide ABU Dhabi with access to and support for its website. Airbnb will also launch a dedicated hosting page on the platform to help new and existing ABU Dhabi hosts understand and comply with the relevant holiday home rules.”This partnership will help promote the growth and diversification of the tourism industry, increasing consumer choice and attracting more new guests to this exciting destination.We look forward to working with DCT ABU Dhabi and the new experiences and opportunities this partnership will create for travellers in the future.”An Airbnb executive said.
